Is there a reasonably priced sheetfed scanner for photos?
I am looking for a scanner that I can feed photos into to edit on my PC. Anyone know of one that won't cost an arm and a leg? I have a flatbed but am looking to go smaller and faster. Any help is appreciated. Thanks much

How does sheetfed scanner work?
How does it really work? technically
A sheetfed scanner moves individual sheets of paper/document past a fixed or stationary scan assembly at one fixed point, rather than moving the scan assembly past a stationary paper or object. The paper/document is usually fed using an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) which pulls one sheet of paper through at a time at a controlled speed past the stationary scanner assembly so the image is consistant with the original image. Here is a website that may also help: http://www.ehow.com/about_5329965_sheet-fed-scanner.html Best of luck.
How does a sheetfed scanner work?
any scanner is like a digital camera, except imagine that the lens is a wide bar instead of a circle, the only difference betweena sheet feed scanner and flatbed scanner is that instead of moving the "camera" around the paper to see it, it moves the paper around the "camera"
